"For many years surfers have travelled to regions far off the beaten track, areas where the average person would not even consider visiting. What is usually found in these 'untouched' areas is unique cultures and societies, a fragile landscape and of course a variety of great waves. In the past it has been difficult for visting individuals to participate in any projects in surfing destinations. SWAP has been designed to give the opportunity for surfers to give something back to these areas and promote the opportunities that do exist in surfing regions. Whether it be through volunteering or through supporting our aims, SWAP is developing a series of programmes to promote and raise awareness on a series of issues overseas...."

With a predominant environmental and social background SWAP supports revolutionary techniques that are helping to combat the environmental and social issues in society today. Working alongside companies and organisations overseas, SWAP is developing a network of sustainably conscious companies that are tackling the issue. We hope to continue to expand to other surfing destinations overseas.
