Surf travel and volunteer with SWAP, The Global Environmental Surfing Network

SWAP supports locally established surf camps and businesses by providing a range of volunteer and surf opportunities in surfing areas including the Mentawai islands, Ecuador, Jeffreys bay, Costa Rica and Senegal. SWAP is currently developing a range of volunteer oportunities worldwide. We aim to continue to raise awareness on environmental, social and cultural issues in surfing destinations.

The Concept.... Surfing as an industry has continued to expand to meet the demand of more individuals getting involved in surfing. As a result more areas are being explored as potential surfing destinations and additional camps, companies and organisations within the surfing industry are being developed to satisfy this demand. The concept of SWAP organisation is to develop a network of and a further understanding of the issues in surfing regions overseas

SWAP organisation supports sustainably aware organisations and companies within the surfing industry. SWAP aims to promote surf travel and volunteer within companies that show evidence of tackling the environmental and social issues found in developing regions.
